"Untrustworthy, misleading, and dangerous experience I am extremely disappointed with State Farm and specifically with the agents Trey and Jordan. We were explicitly told that we were fully covered, continued to make our payments on time, and trusted their guidance. That trust was completely misplaced. We later discovered that we were not actually insured, despite being told otherwise. Because of their misinformation and lack of transparency, my family went on a cross-country trip with zero insurance coverage, completely unaware of the risk we were exposed to. This is not a small mistake — this put my entire family and others on the road in serious danger. Due to their lackluster understanding of their own business, I am now being forced to back-pay five months of loan-required insurance directly to my lender. This financial burden exists solely because of the lies, delays, and prolonged avoidance once they knew they had misled us. Instead of taking accountability, the situation was dragged out while we were left dealing with the consequences. The agents we dealt with showed zero credibility and a shocking lack of knowledge about the coverage they were responsible for explaining. Whether this was negligence or incompetence, the result is the same: we were misled while paying for something we did not receive. Insurance is about trust and protection, and this company failed us on every level. I would strongly caution anyone considering State Farm — especially if working with Trey or Jordan — to get everything in writing and independently verify coverage. Our experience proves that verbal assurances here are meaningless. Do not trust this company with your family’s safety."
